In the memorial concert in honor of Shamil Timerbulatov, I performed the piece “Procession” by Anatoly Luppov, a composer, teacher, and pianist. He was a Distinguished Art Worker of the Mari ASSR (1968), RSFSR (1974), Republic of Tatarstan (1993), an Honorary Worker of Higher Education of Russia (1996), and a Laureate of the G. Tukai State Award of the Republic of Tatarstan (1999).
